ISRAEL 2011!!! BY POPULAR DEMAND. A planning meeting for travel to Israel in February 2011 will be held at Emanuel at 11:00 a.m. This particular trip begins in Egypt and ends in Israel. Hear all of the details during the meeting.

TRAVEL TO MEMPHIS - See the Lorraine Motel, the Civil Rights Memorial Sites, Northern
District of African American Music District, and much more. Money will be collected for the
trip until the first week of July. Interested persons should see a member of the Lay
Organization to register.

THE CHORALIERS MUSIC CLUB will perform at Emanuel A.M.E. Church in the lower level of the
church at 8:00 p.m. The concert features excerpts from George Gershwin's "Porgy and Bess"
and spirituals. Admission: $16 adult, $13 student/senior, $9 child, FREE children under
6 years old. Coordinator: Al Miller.

JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION. The day of emancipation is celebrated on June 19th of every year.
The lowcountry will celebrate Juneteeth at Hampton Park. Organizations are invited to be
intricately involved with the coordination of events. Call 843-552-9086 for more information.

THE GIVING TREE PHASE 3. More elements have
been added to the tree in the foyer of the church. More order forms and flier
sheets are available. in the first year, we raised over $45,000 with this
project. Keep it up. Remember, the items on the Giving Tree will be there for
the life of our building.
